New Genshin teaser shows Linnea’s backstory (Not human?!)

HoyoVerse released a new Character Teaser today for the newest Genshin Impact character on their YouTube channel. They showed Linnea and her backstory.

In this character teaser, they showed Linnea’s backstory and a bit about what she is like. She told her backstory in the third person,
"They say that sometimes Snezhnayan Fae will secretly switch their own child with a human baby. The Fae child seems very human at first, but only on the outside. Before long, she realizes that she is different. But she also knows that she must hide her identity if she wants to survive." Linnea said, hinting that she is actually a child of the Fae and not human, and that she was switched with a human baby.

We can also see that she didn’t fit in very well among real humans because of her mystical nature, she was simply very different, and people were surprised by her hair because her hair has wings. Other children asked her, "Did you used to be a bird?!" We see that Linnea tried so hard to fit in, but it never worked.

However, in the end, everything turns out well for her! She learned to accept her differences and actually embrace them and be proud of them. At the end of the teaser, she takes off her hat, which helped her for years to hide the mystical wings in her hair, and shows her wings to her friends, who happily accept her as she is and all her differences.
"I can't believe this day has come, looks like you don't need that old hat anymore?" said Linnea’s friends.
"Look after yourselves, I will always remember the Conch gang!" Linnea said to her friends.
We knew that Linnea had connections with the Conch gang, but we didn’t know exactly what kind. Now, thanks to the teaser, we can assume that she was actually one of the leaders of the Conch gang, because her friends said at the end, "We'll miss you too, old boss."

As for Linnea in terms of gameplay and abilities, we still don’t know much; but we do know she will be a 5-star Geo support. In the next version, "Luna VI," she will be released as a playable character.
