Herobrine may have just been teased for Minecraft Movie 2, the sequel to the first Minecraft Movie. New materials show a character who looks completely like Steve.
The internet literally went crazy after the new teaser materials for the sequel to the Minecraft Movie, aka Minecraft Movie 2.
Fans immediately noticed something very suspicious; something that could even hint that Herobrine will appear in Minecraft Movie 2.
When they showed the old actors, but also a lot of new actors who will be part of the cast in Minecraft Movie 2, one specific detail stood out...
And that is an actor named Matt Berry, who literally looks completely like Jack Black who plays Steve; same beard, same hair, same facial features, LITERALLY LIKE HIS CLONE!
This is a very strong indicator that Matt Berry will most likely play Herobrine, because as we know Herobrine looks literally the same as Steve, he just has glowing white eyes.
But what actually made it even more obvious that Matt Berry will play Herobrine is the fact that he said "I've been told that I am not allowed to tell you exactly who I'm playing in this new film-" and then someone from the side interrupts him and brings him LITERALLY THE SAME OUTFIT AS STEVE'S AND SHOWS IT TO HIM! To which Matt Berry responds with "Yeah, that's MINE! Steve will not be wearing that."
Now because of this tease, practically the entire Minecraft community has the same question;
"Is it possible that they are actually introducing Herobrine?"
The craziest thing about all of this is that Herobrine was never even a real character in Minecraft, as we all already know.
Herobrine literally started as an internet creepypasta back in 2010, and never actually existed in Minecraft. But he became so legendary that today many people consider him part of the franchise itself.
Even Mojang themselves made jokes for years like "Removed Herobrine" in patch notes and kept the myth alive that way.
Honestly... This could be GENIUS!
If they really add Herobrine, they would get a main villain that everybody knows, and they would use the most famous Minecraft legend ever. Not only that, but they would also hit the nostalgia of an entire generation that watched Herobrine videos at 3 AM and got scared.
This is not the first time the Minecraft Movie teased Herobrine. Even in the first movie, people noticed a scene where Steve has completely white eyes.
The producer claimed that it was a VFX glitch that they left in the movie... But of course half of the internet still does not believe that story, and because of that people think the Herobrine tease may have been planned much earlier.
