"Lords of the Fallen 2 will feature more aggressive enemies and a harsher world of the dead, making survival more challenging than before."

A new video for Lords of the Fallen 2, released by the game's developer, has shed more light on what to expect from this game, especially when it comes to the world. One thing that is being emphasized is how enemies will be more aggressive and how this will make the game more intense. The biggest changes come to the world of the dead, which will now play a much more important role than it did in the first game.

As such, the realm commonly referred to as the Umbral realm is being rewritten to be a much more dangerous and oppressive realm than what currently exists. Rather than being a different realm, it will be a realm that will constantly be pushing against the player character. This will mean that enemies will be more aggressive and thus need better decision-making and reactions during combat. The world will also be more aggressive, especially due to the blurring of the line between the living and the dead.

Lords of the Fallen 2

All these changes come partly due to feedback from the first game, particularly since this mechanic was one of the most unique features. However, this is now being built upon to be a more evolved feature, often referred to as "Umbral 2.0." Alongside this, there will also be improved combat and more intense enemies, all to create a world that will test the player but will not allow the player to rest or relax. Overall, Lords of the Fallen 2 is shaping up to be a much more intense and darker game, especially considering the fact that survival will depend not only on the player's skills but also on the player's adaptability to the world.
