Crimson Desert is getting its biggest patch ever so far, adding difficulty and new features!
This is the biggest patch so far, mainly because it fixes things that people hated the most after launch.
They’re adding Difficulty settings, FINALLY!
Easy, Normal, and Hard modes have been added, like in every other game. The goal is to make the game accessible to new players, but also challenging for Pro players. This was a MUST HAVE because many people said the combat was sometimes too exhausting.
They also added a STORAGE FIX!
The biggest quality of life upgrade ever; now there are new storage types for food, wardrobe, crafting materials, and collections.
A huge amount of space, literally up to 1000 slots. You can use items directly from storage while crafting. This fixes one of the worst problems in the game, which was the terrible inventory system.
Believe it or not, they also added birds that you can tame as Pets. More pets and mounts were added too, including birds as companions and new cats with customization. Not exactly game-changing, but a cool detail that adds immersion.
They also added a boss rematch system, which is very cool because you can fight bosses again. UI and controls are improved, better rendering and graphics, along with new skills and outfits.
Honestly, this is the type of patch that turns a game from “meh” potential into a really solid open-world experience if they keep this up.
