Hogwarts Legacy is free to keep forever again until May 3!
"Last year during the holidays, the Epic Games Store treated us to arguably the best Harry Potter game, with the option to keep it forever."
However, if you missed that opportunity, you have a new chance until Sunday, May 3. It’s a bit strange that such a massive game is being given away without any "buzz" surrounding it, but it’s 100% free, so there’s no need to ask too many questions.

Hogwarts Legacy is an RPG adventure set in the world of Harry Potter that received positive comments from both fans and critics alike. Its success and the quality of the game are best evidenced by its numbers, as it was the best-selling game of 2023 and the 19th best-selling game of all time, which is a truly incredible achievement however you look at it.

If you happen to be a fan of this universe and haven’t played this game yet, you should do so, because a sequel is also about to be announced. We still don’t know if the sequel will be a continuation in terms of the story, but we do know we will see its announcement this year. Additionally, an HBO series is planned for this year, about which we also don’t know much. As the saying goes: Harry Potter fans are eating good.
Regarding specific information, if you embark on your adventure in Hogwarts, expect about 25–50 hours to complete the main story. The number depends on how much side content you want to do. If you like the game so much that you want to explore every single pixel, you can expect around 80 hours of gameplay, which is more than great for a game you’re getting for free.
