Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival has officially launched, bringing the legendary Pinhead back in a new first-person survival horror experience developed by Saber Interactive Bosnia and Herzegovina, formerly known as Mad Head Games.
Released on October 8, 2026, the game is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. It marks a major milestone for the Sarajevo-based development team and introduces an original story set within Clive Barker's iconic horror universe.
“Bringing Hellraiser to life as a video game was an enormous creative challenge, but also an opportunity to prove what our team can achieve on the global stage,” said Emil Esov, Game Director of Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival.
“The fantastic response to the demo gave us tremendous encouragement, and we can't wait for players to finally experience the complete vision and horror experience we've created.”
A new Chapter in the Hellraiser Universe
Rather than adapting one of the existing films, Hellraiser: Revival tells an original story that officially expands the franchise's established canon.
Players take on the role of Aidan, who becomes caught in a terrifying conflict involving Pinhead, the Cenobites, and a mysterious puzzle box known as the Genesis Configuration.
What begins as an attempt to save his girlfriend, Sunny, soon turns into a descent into the Labyrinth, a nightmarish realm filled with cultists, monstrous enemies, and horrors that blur the line between pain and pleasure.
The game combines first-person survival horror with brutal action, supernatural abilities, and an arsenal of weapons. Players must use the powers of the Genesis Configuration to survive encounters with increasingly dangerous enemies while uncovering the secrets behind Pinhead's ritual.
The project was developed in close collaboration with Clive Barker, the creator of the Hellraiser franchise.
Doug Bradley returns as Pinhead
One of the game's biggest attractions is the return of Doug Bradley, who once again lends his voice to the legendary Pinhead.
Bradley originally portrayed the character in the 1987 Hellraiser film and became one of the most recognizable figures in horror cinema through his performances in the franchise.
His involvement in Hellraiser: Revival establishes a direct connection with the original films, bringing a familiar voice to the game's new interpretation of the Cenobites and their disturbing mythology.
Clive Barker has also praised the collaboration with Saber Interactive, describing the experience of watching the team expand the Hellraiser universe as extraordinary.

A Major Release for Saber Interactive's Bosnia and Herzegovina Team
Beyond its connection to one of horror's most recognizable franchises, Hellraiser: Revival represents another significant achievement for the development team in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Previously operating under the Mad Head Games name, the studio became part of Saber Interactive in 2020 and has continued working on increasingly ambitious international projects.
With operations in Sarajevo, Belgrade, and Novi Sad, the regional team has more than 15 years of experience and a portfolio of 67 released games.
Following its work on Scars Above, the studio has now brought one of horror entertainment's most recognizable franchises into gaming.
The team is also working on another unannounced AAA project, although further details have yet to be revealed.
Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival is available now on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
