GTA 6 gets trailer for trailer announcing Extended Look on Netflix!

Confirmation arrived from Rockstar today that trailer 3 won't be a standard one, but an Extended Look that will be broadcast on Netflix.

It seems that Rockstar has slightly changed its standard marketing practice, which involved two cinematic trailers and a third one that was gameplay – at least that was the case with GTA 5 and RDR2.

However, GTA 6 will get a different treatment, and so on August 27th, it will receive something the people at Rockstar call an “Extended look,” which they also confirmed on their YouTube channel with a short video clip that contains no content.

That video didn't give us confirmation on whether the video will air only on Netflix, but Rockstar stated in their press release that the Netflix exclusivity will last for only 6 hours, and that afterward, it will be available on YouTube as well. But, realistically speaking, it will probably be available on YouTube the very second it is published, because there are a ton of streamers who will watch the premiere live with their audience.

As for information about what this new format represents – we don't have any. For now, we know nothing, because nothing has been confirmed. If we take into account that it will be broadcast on Netflix, we can assume that it will be over 10 minutes long and that we will get at least some gameplay material. Still, we cannot claim anything for sure, and it is up to us to keep an eye out in case something leaks right before the premiere.

Be that as it may, what we are sure of is that GTA 6 comes out on November 19th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles.
