Elden Ring movie set leaks go viral among fans

An Elden Ring fan has provided us with a small glimpse into the set of the upcoming film adaptation, and fans of FromSoftware’s RPG masterpiece have become very excited by what they saw in the footage!

One streamer, from the Twitch platform, posted several videos on TikTok showing some of the basic objects that everyone can recognize, for example, the Church of Marika as well as her statue. For instance, when I saw it, I couldn't believe that all of this is becoming a reality and that we will be able to go through Limgrave again just by watching a movie!

A bit of backstory, spoiler alert if you haven't played! Queen Marika is a divine figure in Elden Ring and is, in a way, the ruler of the entire Lands Between world; she is the one who carries the Elden Ring herself and later destroys it. She opposes the Golden Order and the Erdtree and triggers the very well-known event called The Shattering.

We don't know exactly where the filming location is yet, but it's very possible it's in England since one of the larger production houses is in London. The architecture seen in the videos is truly impressive and, watching the footage, memories from the game are awakened, making you wonder—how will this all really look? This is precisely why a dose of caution is advised; although these leaked clips look convincing, it's still possible that the scenery could be part of something else, such as a promotional project or a completely unrelated production.

Despite everything, the reaction of Elden Ring fans shows just how great the anticipation is for this adaptation. If the final film manages to maintain the same level of detail seen in these early glimpses, it could become one of the most promising video game adaptations in recent years—some would say even bigger than the current Fallout series.

Until the first official video is filmed, all we can do is wait for the date when all information is released. The confirmed actors who will participate are not yet known, though there is speculation that they are in talks with Cailee Spaeny, Ben Whishaw, and Kit Connor.
