Dispatch, a very popular superhero comedy game, is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S this month! It is Dispatch, the game that sparked controversy on Nintendo Switch because of censorship.
The developers at AdHoc Studio have confirmed that the game will be available in its completely uncensored version, including all uncensored scenes. This basically means that Xbox players will get the same experience that players on PC and PlayStation have already had, unlike the Nintendo Switch version, which had to be modified because of the platform's policies.
The most interesting part is that when Dispatch launched on Nintendo Switch earlier this year, it sparked a huge debate because several scenes featuring nudity, explicit humor, and vulgar gestures were censored. Because of this, some players requested refunds, and AdHoc Studio later released several patches to reduce the restrictions wherever possible.
However, this new Xbox version of Dispatch will not have those same restrictions. The studio recently confirmed that the game on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming will be released without any changes to its scenes or content, keeping the creators' original vision intact.
Fans have reacted mostly positively to this news. Many believe that the Xbox version is exactly the version they were waiting for, while players who previously criticized the Nintendo Switch port are happy that a new audience will finally get the complete uncensored experience.
Dispatch is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S this month, bringing the game's fully uncensored version with it.
Unlike the controversial Nintendo Switch release, Xbox players will be able to experience this superhero comedy exactly as the developers originally intended, without removed scenes or additional restrictions.
