Dead by Daylight devs want Elden Ring-style spinoff

A combination of horror and a soulslike system—well, this would be something incredibly good! The developers who created Dead by Daylight have shown their ambitions toward creating a new game that would combine horror style and soulslike into one; sounds too good—I know! They found their inspiration in Elden Ring, which means that a potential spinoff is very possible in the future.

Dave Richard recently stated that one of his greatest wishes is to make a soulslike game set in the Dead by Daylight universe. This idea is very interesting, and he believes it would attract a massive amount of attention, especially from fans of these two games.

Although none of this is official, the idea itself is very ambitious. It is already known that the franchise has experimented with different types of projects over the years, which includes story-driven titles as well as various other projects.
