Capcom has hinted that there will be a sequel for their game Pragmata. After the huge success of the first game, there will be Pragmata 2
Capcom has recently hinted that their game Pragmata could turn into a completely new franchise after the first Pragmata game achieved very good results. The studio is very satisfied with the success of its new IP and now there is a real possibility that Capcom will one day make Pragmata 2 as a sequel to Pragmata.
Pragmata achieved extremely surprising results for its start after its release in April. Pragmata sold more than 1 million copies in just two days, and then reached 2 million copies sold in just 16 days. Because of this, Capcom is now not looking at Pragmata as one finished game, but sees in it very good potential for a new franchise that it could develop even further in the future.
This is especially significant because Pragmata is a completely new IP, instead of another sequel to Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, or some other already well-known Capcom game in its franchises.
For now, Pragmata 2 has not been officially confirmed, but Capcom is currently only considering this possibility and has hinted that it sees very good potential for the IP to continue developing in various directions.
Pragmata has become a huge success for Capcom, with more than 2 million copies sold in just 16 days, so the company is now considering the possibility of turning it into a new franchise.
Pragmata 2 has not been confirmed yet, but after results like these, it looks much more likely than before.
