Arrowhead responds to Helldivers 2 Steam review backlash

Helldivers 2 Has Fallen to Mostly Negative on Steam Reviews! And developer Arrowhead has responded to the whole situation.

Steam reviews for Helldivers 2 have currently dropped to mostly negative ratings, and a huge number of players are criticizing the latest updates and the current state of the game. And the developer of this game, Arrowhead, stated that A LOT OF NEW CONTENT IS STILL COMING!
One of the most popular live-service games right now is going through a serious backlash.

Players are really angry, for months now fans have been criticizing the balance of weapons and enemies, and many believe that new Warbond content is getting more attention than bug fix updates. Some players even claim that the gameplay has become unnecessarily frustrating.
Most of the criticism right now is aimed at performance issues and balance changes, as well as the developers because of the way they are handling things.

Also, the Exosuit update caused chaos.
The latest major backlash started after the Exosuit rebalance update. Even though the mechs were buffed, enemies at the same time became much stronger against the armor system.
Part of the community even believes the update practically canceled out its own buffs that the game received.

Because of that, they announced new progression systems, additional content for Galactic War, and more rewards for players. Arrowhead is also promising more transparent patch notes and public beta testing for updates.
It looks like the studio is trying to calm the situation before the backlash becomes even bigger than it already is.

Despite its flaws, Helldivers 2 still has a massive playbase!
Even though it has too many negative reviews, the game still has a very strong player count! Helldivers 2 remains one of the most successful live service games of recent years.
The game has already gone through massive review bombing periods before because of the PSN controversy.
The community is clearly frustrated because of all the bad changes, but interest in the game still has not disappeared.
