13 Ubisoft games are now free on PC for Xbox owners

Microsoft and Ubisoft are expanding Xbox's Console to PC program, so owners of 13 specifically selected Ubisoft games on Xbox will now be able to download those same games in their PC versions without having to buy the game again, so completely for free! For new purchases, this feature is available immediately, while existing owners of the PC version will be getting it through a gradual rollout starting August 4.

The following games are included in this program;
Assassin's Creed Mirage
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Far Cry 6
Immortals Fenyx Rising
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Riders Republic
Skull and Bones
The Crew 2
The Crew Motorfest
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Watch Dogs Legion

If you buy any of these games digitally on Xbox from now on, you will get both the Xbox and PC versions with just one purchase. But if you have already owned it on Xbox for a long time, the PC version will be added to you during the progressive rollout that starts on August 4 this 2026.

It is important to mention that this does not mean that absolutely everything you have on Xbox will automatically transfer to PC.
Neither currencies nor consumable items that you purchased on the Xbox version will be transferred to PC. But however, if the game supports cross-progression, then your whole progress and things you unlocked can also be available on PC.

To play the PC versions of these games, you need to install the latest Ubisoft Connect launcher.
