Samsung introduces Smart monitor M9 with QD-OLED screen powered by artificial intelligence

Samsung Electronics introduced today its latest line of Smart monitors; the top of the range is the Smart Monitor M9 (model M90SF), along with updated models Smart Monitor M8 (model M80F) and M7 (model M70F). By introducing QD-OLED technology to the M9 model, as well as advanced AI functionality to the entire line, the new monitors offer an even more personal, smarter, and more connected user experience – ideal for work and entertainment.

Smart Monitor M9: OLED picture quality, smart performance

Smart Monitor M9 introduces QD-OLED technology to the Smart Monitor line for the first time. Its 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel provides deep contrast and rich colors, offering an impressive visual experience during business tasks, watching content, and playing games. Samsung OLED Safeguard+ helps preserve screen quality over time thanks to an advanced cooling system that reduces the risk of image retention (so-called burn-in effect). M9 also has a Glare-Free screen, which reduces reflections and ensures consistent visibility and viewing comfort, even in strong lighting conditions.

M9 uses a series of functions based on artificial intelligence – AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro, which adjust the picture and sound in real time according to the content and environment. Whether users are watching or creating content or performing multiple tasks simultaneously, the screen automatically adjusts to provide the best performance.

The device also serves as a smart multimedia center, with access to popular streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, and Samsung Gaming Hub – which enable cloud gaming without the need to connect a gaming console or PC. With a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a response time of 0.03 ms, and compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC, M9 is perfect for demanding users and fast-paced games.

The elegant metal design combines a premium look with functionality, providing a modern addition to any workspace. Thanks to accurate and reliable color representation, Smart Monitor M9 received the Pantone Validated certificate. This certificate guarantees users that the M9 has passed rigorous testing standards and can reproduce over 2100 colors and more than 110 skin tone shades from the Pantone library. Paired with the brilliant QD-OLED screen, the monitor ensures that the image looks exactly as the content creators intended, providing confidence and clarity for any application.

Smart Monitor M8 and M7: Versatile monitors with AI functions and improved connectivity

The new Smart Monitor M8 and Smart Monitor M7 bring smart functions to a wider group of users, offering 32-inch 4K UHD screens with top picture quality and built-in AI capabilities. Equipped with Samsung VA panel technology, these monitors provide a sharp image and rich contrast – perfect for everyday tasks, streaming, and more.

Both models support AI tools for searching and discovering content, including Click to Search. These functions enable faster searching and more intuitive interaction with the screen, while the Tizen OS home screen personalizes recommendations and allows simple access to frequently used applications and content sources.

Designed for maximum flexibility, all models support SmartThings integration, Multi Control for connecting with other Samsung devices, as well as the Multi View option for displaying multiple pieces of content simultaneously. With access to Microsoft 365, users can create and edit documents directly on the monitor, without the need for a computer – making them ideal for a modern work environment.

Long-term support and availability

Smart Monitor M9, M8, and M7 are available in a 32-inch size, and global availability begins already this month. To ensure long-term usability and up-to-dateness, Samsung enables up to seven years of One UI Tizen updates for the Smart Monitor series, allowing users long-term use of the latest functions and services.
