"Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. presented its new AI-based interactive display (model WAFX-P) at Bett 2025, Europe's largest education technology event. "

Thanks to the Samsung AI Assistant feature, the educational display combines advanced hardware and cutting-edge AI capacities to create smarter learning environments that further encourage engagement and collaboration.

„Samsung envisions a future where every classroom benefits from the transformative power of AI. By integrating advanced tools such as generative AI and real-time transcription into our classroom displays with Samsung AI Assistant, we are not just improving learning, we are completely changing it,“ said Hun Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. „We are committed to creating technology that inspires educators and students to explore, discover, and grow together.“

Classroom transformation with Samsung AI Assistant

Samsung AI Assistant is a new educational solution designed to adapt, engage, and change learning for a new generation. This special educational solution equips educators with intelligent, intuitive tools for lesson planning and turns traditional teaching into a dynamic, interactive experience that provides the best learning results.

Samsung AI Assistant includes several innovative educational tools:

  • Circle to Search instantly displays search results from trusted sources when the user simply circles images or text on the screen for easy research during class.

  • AI Summary automatically creates a short summary of the lesson for easier lesson planning for teachers and a simpler review after class for students.

  • Live Transcript converts spoken words into text in real time so that students can later read and absorb classroom lessons.

Expanding educational opportunities through global partnerships

Samsung also plans to expand its AI services in the education market through partnerships with global AI companies.

In collaboration with Google, Samsung aims to develop diverse and powerful AI scenarios to encourage the digital classrooms of the future.

WAFX-P also has the Google EDLA certificate, which ensures easy access to services such as Google Classroom and Google Drive, further enriching the educational experience. With these functions, the Samsung AI interactive display functions as a powerful teaching assistant and encourages research and collaboration.

Advanced technology for AI-based learning

With options of 65, 75, and 86 inches, the entire WAFX-P line supports powerful AI capacities, with advanced hardware for a perfect user experience. A Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that can perform as many as 4.8 trillion operations per second guarantees perfect operation of AI functions.

Additional specifications include 16 GB of RAM, 128 GB of SSD storage space, and an octa-core CPU, which together enable efficient multitasking and the use of extensive educational resources. Maximum brightness of 450 nits, a built-in 4K camera, a microphone, and a 20-watt speaker create a suitable environment for an immersive, multimedia experience of video meetings and collaborative learning.

WAFX-P is a versatile, Android 15-based interactive display that includes software functions for organization and maximum learning results. The smart notes function allows easy transition between handwritten and digital content, while the document converter facilitates converting various document formats for better screen functionality and a simpler workflow.

Samsung's commitment to long-term support

As part of its commitment to empowering education, Samsung will continue to support its previous generation displays so that the 2024 WAF series remains compatible with new AI-based interactive functions. This approach confirms the company's dedication to creating lasting value and innovation for educational institutions worldwide.

Samsung looks forward to meeting colleagues, users, and partners at booth #NE20 as part of Bett 2025. For more about Samsung interactive displays visit http://samsung.com.
