you have to go to work is a short Bitsy adventure in which the player must navigate a typical day in the life of an office worker. There are four screens: home, a field, a park and the office. The player can interact with a number of items on the way to work, but cannot go to the park until after they have finished a work day. After visiting and interacting with a computer at the office, the dialogue options change and returning home and going to bed ends the game.
