Xerd no Densetsu

Parodying the setting of a typical JRPG, the player takes the the role of a boy named Prince Jake, who seeks out his evil brother, by the finding the Xerd, who had defeated evil 800 years ago. The plot events escalate from Jake pairing up and marrying a lady named Mahna, to giving birth to a son, who turns out to be the next Xerd, and through baptism comes of age to help his parents in their quest.

The generic elements of the gameplay include towns, where the player can converse with people, make purchases in shops, and get quest items, as well as turn-based combat encounters outdoors and in dungeons, with five different decisions per character, grinding for experience, and leveling up.
