World Boss

World Boss is a first-person shooter where players compete in 14-player free-for-all matches set within large arena maps. The objective is to climb the in-game scoreboard by eliminating opponents and collecting XP gems scattered throughout the map, with the ultimate goal of claiming the World Boss crown.

Combat emphasizes fast-paced movement and quick reflexes. Each kill awards experience points that allow players to level up during a match, unlocking skill points that can be spent on perks, weapons, and equipment. Players who lose all lives reset progress to level 1, while reaching the maximum level 25 offers the option to Prestige, allowing players to retain one perk before starting over with a new weapon.

Matches operate without traditional lobbies or set endpoints. Players can jump in or out at any time, with bots filling empty slots until other players join. The player holding the top scoreboard position becomes the World Boss, gaining a crown, stat buffs, and the ability to place Corruption Bombs that can destroy sections of the map called Hexes. Successfully corrupting all three Hexes ends the match in victory for the World Boss.
