Word Whomp Whackdown

Word Whomp Whackdown is a time-limited word building game. The main goal is to make as many words as possible before the timer runs out, using the seven or ten letters in the center of the screen. Consecutive letters must be next to each other in order to be combined. Sets of squares on the right list how many words are possible to create, and reveal how many letters they contain. The words must be made of at least three letters, and the bigger the words are, the farther the gopher will run at the top. If the gopher reaches the big vegetable at the top, the player gets access to the Speed Round.

In the Speed Round, the player needs to arrange scrambled letters so that they form correct words. This must be done before the timer runs out, or else the gopher will be caught by the dog, losing the points that come with the carrots.
