Wildgate

Wildgate is a team‑based PvPvE extraction shooter set in a sci‑fi universe. Up to twenty players organize into five crews of four (Prospectors) and launch from the Lucky Docks into the procedurally generated Typhon Reach in search of the Artifact. The game pits rival crews against alien hazards, derelict outposts, cosmic storms, and each other, with the goal of escaping through the Wildgate or eliminating all competing crews.

In each match, crews explore randomized zones across the Reach, scavenge upgrades, weapons, and resources, and engage in both tactical ship‑to‑ship combat and frenetic first‑person firefights. Players select from unique Prospectors, each with active or passive abilities, aboard ships that vary in armor, shields, maneuverability, and hardpoint capacity. Victory comes either by successfully extracting with the Artifact or by destroying all opposing crews. Between skirmishes, crews manage ship systems like fuel, ice, and ammo to keep fighting capacity intact.

The game has a hybrid extraction‑shooter loop: the Artefact objective drives high‑risk strategy, while persistent PvP pressure forces crews to decide between stealth looting or outright confrontation. Ship combat employs simplified movement for accessibility, yet also offer turret coordination, boarding tactics, and hardpoint upgrades.
