About
Wild Guns Reloaded is a shooting gallery game with a sci-fi western theme for up to four players. It is an enhanced remake of Wild Guns.
Wild Guns Reloaded is an arcade shooter and the object is to shoot your way through 5 levels filled with saloons, robots, cowboys and spaceships. Each level consists of two scenes and a boss fight. The gameplay is similar to Cabal. Players can move left and right at the bottom of the screen while independently aiming the crosshair to shoot enemies and destroy thing in the background. Incoming bullets can be dodged by jumping or sliding. Players have a limited amount of bombs to clear the screen, and enemies can temporarily be frozen by throwing a lasso at them.
Compared to the original, it has enhanced graphics, sound and music, new levels and characters and it supports simultaneous 4-player coop-gameplay. It retains the same pixel art graphics style but with several graphical enhancements. The music tracks are also same except they are now studio recorded. The two new playable characters are Bullet, a dachshund who controls an attack drone, and Doris, a big female character with grenades as default weapon. Underground is a new level which takes place in a castle, and Flying Ship takes place in the sky on top of an airship. There are many more minor changes like destroying certain items sometimes reveal big money sacks for bonus points, a new green laser gun power-up, and online score rankings.
