Weirdo

Weirdo is a single-player arcade game. The player navigates a small monster on a playing field that contains 5 sets of 2 identical monsters. The character can move in all directions, but only shoots laterally. When the player shoots a monster, it is temporarily stunned, and if the other similar monster is quickly shot, both creatures are removed from the field. Otherwise, the monster reactivates. If the player touches a monster they lose a life. When all 10 monsters are destroyed, the player starts a newer level with faster monsters and slower stun times. The player starts with 5 characters, and it's game over if all are lost.
