Waves

Waves is a top-down twin-stick shooter with futuristic visuals. You control a ball in the center of a round arena and you must shoot several enemies (in many geometric shapes) before they touch and kill you. Shoot many enemies in a row to score combos and win bombs, which must be used before the end of the combo. Collect scrap from enemies to fuel your slow-motion ability, which also gives you score multipliers. Get a high score and climb up on the online leaderboards.

The game has a different modes of play; some of them give you limited lives, others give you infinite lives but limited time, and others change the rules even further. For example, in Bombing Run you must collect bombs and drop them at detonation pads before they explode, and you cannot shoot at all. In another mode (Hold) you must remain inside a smaller lit circle in order to be able to shoot.
