About

Vigilance is a single-player first-person shooter which puts the player at the center of counter-terrorist missions. In a world facing terrorist threats from a shadowy organization, Special Intelligence Operations Network (SION) agents infiltrate global strongholds like oil platforms and monasteries to disrupt enemy plans.

Gameplay spans twelve linear levels, with the player toggling between first- and third-person views. Before entering each level, the player chooses to play as one of eight agents with the skills most suited to eliminate threats, rescue hostages, or secure intelligence. Each agent has their own strengths and weaknesses across nine categories such as speed, stealth, armor, assassin, sniper, and demolitions abilities. The game features over twenty weapons, from pistols to rocket launchers, with new weapons being acquired throughout the missions themselves.

In addition to the single-player campaign, the game features a multiplayer deathmatch mode which be played via LAN as well as SegaSoft's HEAT.NET service. Deathmatch mode features 27 characters to play as.
