Venus Voyager 2

Venus Voyager 2 is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player controls a spaceship that must land and pick up stranded astronauts from the caverns deep within Venus' surface. The player's spaceship must contend with gravity as it attempts to navigate Venus' twisting tunnels, and the player has limited fuel to provide vertical and horizontal acceleration. A ship speed indicator is present on the screen. The player starts on an initial screen where the ship is shown at a distance, and the player can try to navigate into any of 4 tight twisting caverns. After descending into a cavern, the player enters a zoomed map, where they try to land to pick up stranded people. If the player strikes any walls, they lose a ship. The player starts with 6 ships, and it's game over when all are lot. There are 2 game play options, and 3 difficulty levels.
