Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga

Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is a third person action RPG with a heavy focus on combat, much in the fashion of the Monster Hunter series, and leveling up your character.

The game is set in an ancient lands of Eldar where the races have divided and monsters roam the lands. You take on the role of, first, a male character and later on a female character to rid the world of monsters while doing quests for the townsfolk. As the game progresses, you can play the story through the perspective of a number of characters. Eldar Saga features a character creation system that allows you to choose from a variety of races and customize your character, after which you select from multiple classes, ranging from warriors to bards and priests to thieves, each with their own skill set.

Doing quests, gathering resources and building up your character are integral parts of the game. Upon accepting quests, you can choose to take a computer controlled partner with you, or a friend through the online Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
