Valhalla Hills

Valhalla Hills is a strategy game based on constructing buildings in the tradition of games like The Settlers and Cultures. The player's character is the son of the god Odin, but he is not satisfied with you. He exiles him to Earth to prove his worth. The player has to manage Vikings by building villages, recruiting soldiers and gathering resources to eventually return to Valhalla.

Resources are provided through professions like baker, farmer or miller. These can be invested into buildings to raise production or provide living quarters, logistics or military buildings. It is also possible to use them to recruit troops or to sacrifice them to the gods. The goal of each map is to reach a portal while enemy Vikings attempt the same. It can either be conquered by military force or by making a sufficient amount of sacrifices to the gods.
