About

Under Ash is a 3d shooter set in Israeli/Arab disputed territories (Judea and Samaria, also known as the "West Bank") during the first "Intifada", a series of violent riots between Palestinian Arabs and the Israeli Army between 1989 and 1993. Based on several real life accounts of Intifada participants, you take the role of the young Palestinian Arab named Ahmad from East Jerusalem, who has to fight Israeli soldiers in various real-life locations, including Jerusalem, Hebron, and Abraham's Tomb (Machpela Cave). Starting with rocks and slings you'll eventually be able to steal a few weapons and oppose the superiorly equipped Israeli army while still relying on guerrilla tactics.
