Ultimate Soccer Manager 98-99

Ultimate Soccer Manager 98-99 is the final release in the USM series, started in 1995. A standalone expansion, it includes a team update for the said season, Spanish and Dutch leagues, irons out bugs and improves general stability of the game.

The game remains unchanged from the previous version; the interface is still the same hotspot, there is an icon-driven "office" view, players are rated in nine key areas (keeping, tackling, passing, shooting, pace, heading, set pieces, throwing and stamina), you can hire scouts to follow players' progress and trainers to improve players' abilities, enhance the stadium, set prices for catering and merchandise, etc.
