UFO: Extraterrestrials Gold Edition is an updated version of the original UFO Extraterrestrials.
The game has been given new maps, new items to research and produce (proximity grenades, new rocket launcher, personal shields, jetpacks, new armor/suits), in-mission radar maps, a combat log, a possibility to hire soldiers, Cooperating UFO swarms on the planetary globe, and some performance optimization / configurability.
