Trine: Enchanted Edition

Trine Enchanted Edition is a remake of the original Trine using the Trine 2 engine. As a result the visuals are improved and some new effects have been added as well. The story, voice acting and soundtrack remain the same, however, some new sound effects have been included. Minor changes can be found here and there in level design and gameplay for the sake of better playability and to make the game fit the new engine a bit better. Most importantly, online co-op game mode and mid-level saving have been added into the game.

On Steam and GOG.com it is provided as a free update to the owners of the original Trine, but at the same time it is treated as a relaunch of the game, replacing the original version entirely and making it no longer available for purchase. However, the original version remains playable and can be selected from the game launcher. For the PS4 and Wii U it is the first release of the original Trine for the platform.

A later released update added a level editor to the Windows version.
