Trainz Simulator 2010: Engineers Edition is one of a series of games in the Trainz range.

The improvements over the previous product include:* Several new and improved routes which are unique to Trainz Simulator 2010 among which are ECML Doncaster Peterborough, CN Holly Subdivision, Detroit Connecting Railroad, and Port Ogden & Northern

• Seasonal asset support, which means the scenery changes with the time of year
• Spreadtree, a feature which makes the trees in the scenery more realistic
• A new menu system with customizable menus
• A separate menu for tutorials and an achievements system which tracks performance in the tutorials

This edition is backward compatible with Trainz 2009 and has the same features, the surveyor mode for building railway systems with linked industries, rules, environment configuration, and a content manager to download additional features from the 'Planet Auran' website.
