Toraware no Palm: Refrain

Toraware no Palm: Refrain is the sequel to the otome adventure game Toraware no Palm. Unlike the previous game, which had two love interests, Refrain only has one: Chiaki. The gameplay is largely the same as the previous game: the player moves around different points on the map to unlock topics and items, chats with the love interest through the in-game messaging app, and eventually meets him face-to-face, where the player can touch the screen to interact with him.

One key feature Refrain adds is eye contact: the game will track the player's eyes to convey information; in the Switch version this is done with the right stick. The love interest will react to the gaze the player makes, whether if they're looking directly to him or away from him. The game also includes an art gallery with concept art and illustrations.
