About

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard is a mobile entry in the Rainbow Six series. It puts the player in command of a three-man counter-terrorism team in a campaign consisting of eleven missions in locations all over the world. Mission objectives include rescuing hostages at an embassy, assaulting an oil platform and infiltrating a rebel camp in Congo.

The game is played from a first person perspective that changes to a third person perspective when moving into cover. The player can interact with the world directly or give commands to the team. This is done through contextual icons that appear on walls, doors and other objects. When at a door commands include open & clear to assault the room or flash & clear to throw a stun grenade and then attack the room. There is also a snake camera to look into a room. The player can then tag enemies which the teammates will kill on sight. The teammates can also be used to hack electronics and defuse/plant explosives. Teammates that are injured need to be revived in time or they will die and the mission fails.

In addition to the singleplayer campaign, the game offers multiplayer modes. There is a co-op mode played with one or two other players online or via local wi-fi or with one other player via bluetooth. There are also deathmatch and team deathmatch modes for up to ten players online or via local wi-fi or two players via bluetooth.
