Time Twist: Rekishi no Katasumi de...

Time Twist is an adventure game that takes place in the very-near future of 1995 where time travel exists. The protagonist, a young boy, is misled into reciting an incantation that inadvertently releases the devil, who proceeds to swap bodies with you and travels back in time to alter the course of history. As the boy, your goal is to stop the devil's plans by following him to real-life locations (e.g. France, America, Germany), meeting with historical figures (e.g. Joan of Arc, Abraham Lincoln, Mary & Joseph), and solving the situations you encounter with them, and finally reclaim your corporeal self.

Much of the game is played by selecting context-based commands and answers from the text box that makes up the lower part of the screen. The upper part is where you control the characters you possess and interact with others. Solving puzzles, possessing, and talking to the various characters is crucial as each newly possessed character, human or animal, has the ability needed to progress the story.
