The Sims 3: Generations is the fourth add-on for The Sims 3 and introduces no additions to the gameplay mechanics. It offers content updates for the different Sim generations: children and teenagers can participate in parties, pranks or after-school activities (e.g. ballet or drama club), adults have new celebrations and can fall into the mid-life crisis and elders can remember the good old times.
Also included are two new traits (nurturing and rebellious) and various smaller additions like male body hair and new items. Players can film and photograph in-game happenings which are saved in the photo album and, if wished, are directly sent to the user's Facebook account.
