The Search for Amelia Earhart

Christine is a psychic that regularly uses her gift to solve mysterious cases. After receiving a letter with some clues about the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, she starts to investigate the case of the missing aviatrix, using her powers to explore the past and find out exactly what happened to the famous pioneer.

The Search for Amelia Earhart is a hidden object game with adventure elements. Most of the time, the objective is to find and click on all the items listed at the bottom of the screen on several connected rooms of a location, within a time limit. The time constraints can be turned off at the start of the game. Some of the list entries are grayed-out to indicate that an action or scenery interaction has to be performed to make the item visible and available. A few of the collected objects are stored inside Christine's purse, that can be accessed from a bottom-left button. The purse items can be dragged and dropped on parts of the scenery to perform an action, solve puzzles or used on top of each other to create a new tool. The player has to move between rooms to pick up and use all the objects available, to complete the chapter and move to the next stage in the story. The hint button shows the position of one of the required items, but takes a few minutes to recharge after use.

Mini-games appear occasionally, where the player has to input the correct coordinates on a navigation device, assemble jigsaw puzzles, find all the differences between two similar images, and complete other challenges. They can be optionally skipped after a few minutes, with the subtraction of hints and time as a penalty.
