The Lord of the Rings Online: Riders of Rohan

The Lord of the Rings Online: Riders of Rohan is the fourth add-on for The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. It continues the storyline and leads players to the Eastern Plains of Rohan. The area is at war and the Fellowshop has to aid the Rohirrim. There are overall six new regions added: The Wold, The East Wall, The Norcrofts, The Sutcrofts, The Entwash Vale and The Eaves of Fangorn.

The main new gameplay addition is mounted combat. The players get access to war horses which control more indirect than the normal mounts. When a horse rides fast (can be set in four steps), it gains fury and therefore attacks do more damage. The game also introduces three new skill threes (offensive, balanced and defensive) which specifically deal with mounted combat. This is also the preferred way of dealing with warbands; powerful enemy groups which roam over a certain area, Also introduced is open tapping which means every player in range, even if not in the group, receives experience points and loot for defeated enemies.

The level cap is increased to 85, including new legendary items, and purchasers receive an exclusive mount and title.
