About
The Legends of Oz: One Hundred Years of Oz is a multimedia CD-ROM about the 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Lyman Frank Baum. It features the written book in its entirety (text only), a narrated version of the story (seven chapters told from the point of different characters) with still images in the style of the original illustrations as well as clips from the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz.
Also included are three short stories The Sillyozbuls of Oz, The Sillyozbul of Oz and Toto and The SillyOzbul of Oz and the Magic Merry-Go-Round by Roger Stanton Baum which were released in early 1990s. They are narrated interactive storybooks. Sometimes clicking on persons or items triggers sounds or animations.
The game content is a standard concentration variant where players reveal pictures after removing the tiles. The three difficult levels differ in the amount of tiles.
