The Legend of Princess

The Legend of Princess is a one-level arcade interpretation of Zelda. Players control Link as the main character in a very large level with different bosses. The gameplay is fairly similar to Noitu Love 2, by the same developer. He made it as a tribute to the series and as a break while working on his new title Solar Plexus.

With fast, arcade-like gameplay, the main characters needs to search through a Dirt Temple and take out all opposition. The main character is armed with a sword, used for a wide arrays of moves and combos, and a special item for extra moves. Before starting the game, the item needs to be chosen as well as the means of double jumping. Instead of a regular double jump players can opt to use a chicken to fly around or to launch a spear that attaches itself to ceilings.

Defeated enemies leave behind gems, and hearts that replenish the health. When a fairy is picked up, an additional life is provided. There are also several puzzle elements involving boxes and keys.
