About

The Golden Horde is a real-time strategy game, based on events that took place in Central Asia, Russia and western Europe at the beginning of the XIII century.

Players can choose between three factions, each with different styles of play: the Mongols, the Russians and the Crusaders. The Mongols are the most dynamic faction, as they can move their buildings around the map, should the need arise, the Russians can only build near their town centers, while the Crusaders can build anywhere on the map.

The different units can earn experience during fights and the player can even outfit them with custom weaponry.

The weather plays an element in the game, as wind affects fired arrows, rain reduces visibility and snow slows down units.
