The Forever Labyrinth

The Forever Labyrinth is a narrative adventure developed by Inkle and presented by Google Arts & Culture through both its website and app. The player is drawn into a mysterious labyrinth in search of a professor friend; the labyrinth comprises various rooms, hallways, gardens, forests, beaches and catacombs. They must collect various clues throughout the maze to travel further into it. This is achieved by examining artworks located in most rooms: If the appropriately-themed clue is selected while looking at a painting, the player will be transported to a related room. The player is ultimately trying to find something called "The Source," and should they tarry too long, they will be killed and sent back to the beginning. Progress such as number of paintings viewed is saved between playthroughs.
