The Crossing

The game's premise is minimalist, but its presentation is lush to make up for it: deer attempt to jump over a ravine in a pastoral forest glade, the titular crossing, but find their leaps falling short. To the rescue comes the player, controlling a Pong-type paddle to partially straddle the gap. Straightforward enough, but what happens when two deer require the services of one paddle simultaneously? Clicking the mouse will leave a temporary "shadow paddle" in place while the player's attention ventures to other pending collapses. A series of bonuses yield power-ups, but as in many of the Orisinal casual games, the ultimate end here is to rack up a high score.
