Switch 'N' Shoot

Switch 'N' Shoot is a minimalist one-button shoot 'em up. Your ship at the bottom of the screen will move automatically left or right, wrapping around to the other side of the screen when reaching the edge. Pressing any button will fire your ship's weapon, but also reverse the direction of movement.

Enemy aliens and power-up items drop from the top. Collecting a power-up will increase your firepower but also raise the power meter one step. Once the bar is filled you move to the next level, which resets the powerbar and firepower. Missing to grab a power-up will lower the power meter as well as your firepower again.

If an enemy manages to reach the bottom of the screen they will stay there for a while, obstructing your path, until they self-destruct. Some enemies might drop a shield item when killed. Every few levels offer a boss battle.
