About

Sweet Shop is a simulation game where a shop selling candy needs to be managed. It is largely identical to one of the developer's previous games, Pocket Potions, but selling candy instead of potions. It combines some minor elements from time management games where customers need to be observed (not served however) but new sweets need to be made at the same time. They are created by combining ingredients either bought in packs or taken from plants, with gems as a virtual currency. Ingredients are mixed into a cauldron through a tapping process and the accuracy determines the yielded percentage bonus.

Candy is displayed in jars where customers will help themselves as long as there are different sweets left. Later unlockables provide accessories to decorate the store. Candy also affects the customers' behaviour as often they will eat it right away. Emotions can be read through speech balloons above their heads with an image inside.

There is also a social element as it is possible to visit the stores of other players and leave behind gifts that contain ingredients. Leaving behind a gift raises the visiting user's karma, boosting him in the community tab and thus raising the chance to be visited by other players.
