Subwaydle

Subwaydle is a variant of Wordle, the popular word-guessing game that took over social media in January 2022. However, this version eschews the words altogether and asks the player to guess a different subway trip each day. Each trip has three segments on three different lines, and the player gets six guesses. Like Wordle, correct guesses in the wrong slot will be colored yellow and correct guesses in the right slow become green. The player can choose from 21 lines, which can only be used once. There is a "hint" button for when the 6,835 options are too intimidating (4,188 on weekends, when service in the city is reduced). The creator, Sunny Ng, says he was inspired by the regular trivia nights held at the New York Transit Museum.
