Strawberry Shortcake and Her Berry Best Friends

Strawberry Shortcake and Her Berry Best Friends is a children's game based on the cartoon character's franchise. The game is hosted by Strawberry Shortcake and she takes the player to Strawberryland where several mini-games can be played. The premise is that she has lost her scrapbook with memories of her best friends. She suspects that Pupcake has buried it in the garden, but she does not want to hurt its feelings. So instead she has bought a new scrapbook and asks the player to fill it with new memories of her friends. The more than 100 different pictures and items for the book are provided by completing the ten mini-games. When the game is completed Strawberry Shortcake is taken to a gift booth where she can choose an item. All the available places can be visited right away from a central map.

The mini-games are the fruit-themed match-three variant Orange Blossom, the cake decorating game Angel Cake, Pupcake and Custard as a hidden object game, locating Apple Dumplin' based on clues, planting seeds to grow them into bushes and trees based on different properties, Honey Pie as a horseracing game where the outcome is predicted by applying mathematics, baking cookies in Ginger Snap's house by choosing the right colors and shapes to get the right ingredients, interactive stories with Blueberry Muffin where the child needs to follow along attentively to pick up the clues and locate the little pet friend Cheescake, musical note sequences in Rainbow Sherbet, and finding the right fruits of the same type based on shape and color in Huckleberry Pie.

Two of the games have highscores. Sometimes a rainbow appears pointing to a specific location. If a game is started with the rainbow present a golden strawberry for the scrapbook can be won. There are three difficulty levels. Through the parental controls parents can alter settings for the game difficulty, audio settings (speech, music and sound effects volume) and time limits. It is possible to save the game and there are printouts to color.
