About

Stack Columns is a 1994 arcade sequel that focuses on competitive play. It plays similarly to previous Columns games but now introduces the concept of stack chips, which are awarded when a set of three or more jewels are cleared from the field. These chips can be used to attack an opponent by raising the floor bar on their field.

The plot revolves around the player character, who's father was killed during the "Rose Stack Tournament", ten years prior. Now the character must join the tournament to reach the master and learn more about the circumstances of their father's death.
