Space Madness

Space Madness is a 2D cave flyer and gravity shooter game, where the play controls a spaceship through a mining station on a desolate planet in response to a distress call. The game consist of 32 levels, and on each of them the player must fly the spaceship from the starting platform to the ending platform, overcoming various obstacles such as defensive turrets, enemy spaceships and aliens. Many of the obstacles require good timing skills, such as flying through gates or laser barriers that are continuously opening and closing, or moving the spaceship through cargo areas with various force fields, such as directional pull, magnetism and repulsion spheres. The spaceship is navigated by rotating and giving thrust from a single rocket engine with no direct braking possible, like in many cave flyers. Any collision with the walls or obstacles is deadly, but the game has both an easy and a had difficulty level, the easy featuring a less realistic, but more forgiving, gravity effect. The first 16 levels are free to play, while the last 16 can be purchased online via micro-payments. The last level features a large boss battle.
