About

Space Adventure Cobra: The Shooting is a shooter game based on an original manga and TV series by Buichi Terasawa.

Players take control of the space pirate Cobra in 23 stages broken into 5 chapters.

Cobra can shoot enemies with his gun and players are able to change the trajectory of the shot once it has been fired. He is also able to fight with his fists and use items that can restore his health, cause damage to nearby enemies or open locked doors using key cards scattered across the levels. He can also jump, crouch or strafe left and right to dodge enemy bullets flying at him.

The stages are relatively short and they require players to get to a specific area where Cobra must defeat a boss or use an item. After clearing each level, Cobra's shot accuracy in the level is used to restore his health before starting the next stage.

There are also a few levels where Cobra must navigate a helicopter or a floating vehicle and avoid crashing into objects or getting in contact with shots fired from the enemies.
